Steps for customizing your Order

Every piece from Couyon Studio is custom, handmade, and built to last.

I specialize in crafting furniture and decor that reflect your unique style, your needs, and the character of your space. Whether you know exactly what you want or you’re just starting with a spark of an idea, I’ll work with you to bring it to life. I use high-quality hardwoods and materials, paying close attention to the details that make a piece truly special and built for generations. I can’t wait to build something one-of-a-kind for you—let’s make it happen.

  • Reach out with your idea in the contact section or on Facebook. Whether you have detailed sketches, inspiration photos, or just a rough concept, I’m here to help shape it. We’ll chat about what you’re looking for, your space, preferred materials, budget, and timeline.

  • Now that I have an idea of what you want, it’s time to work out the specifics. This will include dimensions, wood species, laser engravings, stains, colors, accents and anything else necessary to make the perfect piece for you.

Once we’ve nailed down the vision, I’ll give you a quote or multiple quotes with options to meet your budget. This will outline materials, dimensions, finishes, estimated completion time, and pricing. I’ll work with you to tweak the design until it’s just right.

For most furniture, I’ll create a detailed digital 3d design for you to review before starting on the project. The 3d design will require a small upfront fee between $20-$40, which will be deducted from your deposit if you decide to move forward with the project.

  • When you’re ready to move forward, a 50% deposit secures your spot in the build schedule and allows me to purchase materials. Lead times vary so you will be provided with an estimated timeframe with the quote.

If you paid a design fee for the digital 3D model, this will go towards your deposit.

  • I handcraft your piece with precision and attention to every detail, keeping you updated along the way. You’ll get progress photos so you can follow your piece’s journey from raw lumber to finished work. Or if you prefer to not be bothered and only hear from me when your project is complete, that’s fine too.

  • Once your piece is complete, I’ll send final photos and schedule pick-up or delivery. The remaining balance is due at this time.

You’ll receive care instructions to help keep your piece looking its best for years to come.

  • You can arrange to pick up your piece at the shop in Galvez, Louisiana near Galves Primary School.

I offer local delivery for a fee.

I do ship smaller items but at this time furniture is pick up and local delivery only. Though, if you’re familiar with and want to set up shipping, I’m open to it.
